It feels like at this point in our lives, things are taken from us at an ever increasing rate. In 2001, Aaliyah was killed in an airplane (Cessna 402B) accident while leaving the Bahamas. A detailed investigation would conclude that the overloaded Cessna failed to gain lift during takeoff, and crashed shortly after. RIP.
