One thing that probably didn’t become apparent until over 15 years after his death, is how Tupac Shakur was more mature than many of us at his age. To think that at the age of 25 (the age of his death) that he would accomplish so much and that his words would have such a profound meaning to us even today is something scholars and historians will look back at in the generations to come and discuss in public forum and through publications and debates.
Tupac’s trials and tribulations created an individual that was driven through motivation and momentum and this was reflected in his words and through his voice. In his very short period of time here on earth, he matured and accomplished more than most could in two or three lifetimes. To think of what he could have accomplished into his 40s and beyond is almost frightening to behold and yet his spirit and memory lives on through the lives of his fans, his family and yes, even his critics. Today, let us honor the man, the myth, the legend. Take stock on what he passed on to you through his life, and help make the world a better place. Happy birthday Tupac Amaru Shakur… happy birthday Makaveli.
